The Springhill Property Owners Association requires prior approval for certain exterior changes to ensure consistency, safety, and protection of property values throughout the community.
No exterior modification may begin without written approval from the Association.
The Board of Directors currently serves as the Architectural Review Committee (ARC).
When Approval Is Required
Approval is required before starting any exterior project, including but not limited to:
- Roof replacements
- Exterior painting (including color changes)
- Fence installation or replacement
- Pool installation
- Patio enclosures or extensions
- Driveway modifications or expansions
- Structural additions or alterations
- Landscaping changes that significantly alter the property

ARC Application Process
To request approval:
- Complete the Architectural Review Application
- Submit all required documentation, which may include:
- Project description
- Plans, drawings, or specifications
- Material and color details
- Contractor information (if applicable)
- Submit your application to the Association’s management company
Incomplete applications may delay review.
Review Timeline
- Applications are reviewed by the Board/ARC
- A decision will be provided once all required information is received
- Do not begin work until you receive written approval
Approval Requirements
Approval decisions are based on:
- Compliance with governing documents
- Visual harmony with the community
- Impact on neighboring properties
- Safety and structural considerations
The Association may approve, deny, or approve with conditions.

- Work must match the approved application

- The homeowner is responsible for obtaining any required permits
Completion Requirements
- Projects should be completed within a reasonable timeframe

Non-Compliance
Starting work without approval or deviating from an approved plan may result in:

- Fines
- Required removal or correction of unapproved work
